Jetpack Joyride

Commandeer experimental jetpacks from the clutches of science evildoers.

Project Overview

In Jetpack Joyride “join Barry, a struggling gramophone salesman, as he breaks into a secret laboratory to commandeer experimental jetpacks from the clutches of science evildoers.”

The major title 1.5 update of Jetpack Joyride added the popular rolling inventory feature. This was one of the first examples of a date based shop added to Halfbrick’s titles, and across mobile games as a whole. This feature provided seasonal items with different cosmetics’ availability changing on a rolling basis, this type of feature has since become an industry standard.

Role: Game Designer (LiveOps)

Contributed to the project as an additional LiveOps designer on the 1.5 update. Worked closely with the Chief Creative Officer, and a wider team of 6 developers, managing and balancing a large set of data.
